ありがとう

I want to thanks both Jiaoni and Yanying for their effort yesterday till morning. Especially Jiaoni. Last night, both of us were doing BSD. She accompany and helped me in my part. We discussed about Cost Benefit Analysis throughout the night. Till this morning 8plus, we did not sleep. Furthermore, jiaoni has to work in the late afternoon. But still, she accompanied me.

If it were not been her, I think till now my CBA still empty. At least we learnt something, isn't it jiaoni? =) Not forgetting YanYing, who woke up at 7am to continue on her part despite having insufficient rest. Xiexie. I really do enjoy doing project with you all.

Reunion Dinner, Sunday, 25/01/09

It's once a year Reunion Dinner again. Finally can sit down with my family and have a small gathering. Every year, our reunion dinner is always Steamboat. But this year, our food has reduced to a large extent. And luckily, we managed to finish the food without wasting them, all thanks to my bro. =)

Had a good time with my family. We ate for around 2hours. It was fun chatting with family especially to catch up and gossiping on others. Maybe I've not talked to them much since 1 year ago. =(

Projects are killing me. My eyes are swollen and pain. I need oxygen! Next week alot of things would be due. Hopefully after next week, I can really take a breather.

AH FEN's Wedding, Saturday, 24/01/2008

Wedding is the most important and special day of the bride and bridegroom's. It symbolises the start of their new lives. For my cousin, Ai Fen, today was her special day.

Last term, I had Understanding Relationship as part of my elective module. From there, I learnt about Cross cultural relationship. Also, my group did on that too. Initially, I wasn't really convincing enough as to the rise of cross cultural marriage. But After witnessing cousin's wedding, it does kind of make me believe it exists? Especially when they have been dating for 9years.

Her husband is from another race (can't figure out what race) and is 9years older than her. Somehow, he is abit shorter than my cousin? or her heels problem? I dont know. Many people, including me, would feel that it is kind of ridiculous? But, they really got together after 9years of courtship. bravo indeed.

After the tea ceremony at Da Jiu's house, the 3 of us went home. Cabbed home and reached home around 11am. Slept for awhile and started to rot after I woke up. Prepared for some time before going to Furama Hotel for the wedding dinner.

Can spot us? =) The ambience is nice, but super duper cold till I going to shiver.

Our table was number 22. In the end, other than my family, the table is filled with another 2 people that we did not know. And 1 went off halfway. =.= So my cousin joined us at the table.

The dinner ended earlier than usual because there would be a dance session for people who want to stay back to dance. Till midnight. It's very special because there's no wedding like this.

As we were camwhoring outside, my Xiao yi said that the dance started already so all of us went back to the ballroom to see. My xiao yi keep dragging people to dance so in the end, she danced with her husband. An entertainment for us. Captured a photo of them.

While taking photos, an indian man approached me and asked me to dance with him. I was damn scared and quickly ran away. After that, both my cousin and I were being asked by my auntie to dance. Ended up, I was dancing away. LOL. But didn't really dance cause relative all looking.

Japanese Speech Contest, Friday, 23/01/09

Japanese Speech Contest was a great experience for me. =) As this is my first time being a MC, I was quite nervous. Being the first to speak, it made me stress. Probably because I'm supposed to talk in Japanese, a language which I'm not very skilful at.

Luckily, everything went smoothly. Students from Waseda High School were quite friendly. And I think we couldn't coordinate well with our ppt. Some I forget to click while some boon forget to. But overall, it was a great experience for us. Definitely. And I guess, my japanese has improved tremedously from the few practices. (笑)

Didn't take photos throughout the speech contest until the end. Of course, we took with Yoko Sensei and Kana Sensei. =D

Also, Yoko Sensei gave us each a present to thank us for helping her. So happy! Ureshii! But we didn't join the seniors and Yoko Sensei for the dinner because we have something on. And tuesday is Yoko Sensei's birthday! Will be making a card for her! ^^

Otanjoubi omedatou gozaimasu!

My phone died on me this morning, after i sent the last message before going out. After realising that my phone couldn't send out any message, I felt rather moodless. Didn't have the mood to shop when I reached Jurong Point.

I walked around the whole of the building a few times and saw that pink knit bag that I liked. I guess nowadays my taste is very weird. AND, people may think that it's not nice but to me, it's nice. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. That's what I believed.

And, this is my first ever pink color bag. =) Wanted to get a vintage blouse from there but didn't manage to try. My mind is still about the vintage blouse right now. It's the GREY that I want! After that, went to Mphosis to get my FLIP FLOP. =)

KILLER. REALLY. Spent so much on these. In just 2 days, I spent about $100-$120 just on FLIP FLOPS, BAG and LINGERIES! REALLY made me sooo happy. =) Especially when I get to buy my Lingeries. People once told me that wearing beautiful lingeries can brighten your day. How true can that be? =P

Sometimes I really hope that the reporters should not add in information that is irrelevant to the topic. I know that they are providing the information to people. But shouldn't they think what is right to put and relevant? IT's soooo not ethical to put untrue stuff or rather, bragging about the fact.

I just hope they would let the victims have a peace and not disturbing them. =(

I hope, my family would stay happy and healthy. Also, everyone whom I know.

please bless my mum. Let me take away her worries. Xiang and I are very worried for her. Let her sleep peacefully in the night. Hope she can be better tml. God, please bless her. She's a good person, a good mother, a good daughter, and a good wife.

Life's so fragile.

The fire at Bangkok's nightclub has swept alot of people all over the world. One of them is my cousin. I've never thought that this thing could happen to my relative. It's so depressed to hear that. Especially when you're caught on fire. Today, my whole mind has been on cousin's injuries.

May god bless her. Truly. And everyone else who are injured or have gone to heaven. God Bless you.

but luckily, I've seen wan bao just now and learnt that cousin's injury is not severe. Can be discharged in a couple of days. PHEW. Hopefully she can be recovered soon. Everyone is tramatised, including me.
