WARNING: SUPER LONG POST

SIM PHOTOGRAPHY CAMP DAY 1

We were supposed to assemble at 1030am at HQ. Due to the heavy rain, the games and camp were delayed and as a result, we have to start late. Everyone put their stuff at the hostel before setting off for amazing race. I was in group 4 - Snap aka AIZAI! Joelle is our OGL and my group consist of Joanne, Terence, Nicholas, Darren and I. But Darren was not with us throughout the amazing race as he had something on.

Before we set off to our first stop, we have to solve a photo puzzle. It really took us quite sometimes as the clouds were unable to distinguish. To add on, the toning made it even harder. Somewhat we managed to complete it and we began our journey. First stop: We went to one of the place at the hostel to ask for help on our clue.



The people there were nice to help us checked and in the end, we decided to head to Helix Bridge which is our first stop. We walked to the bus stop and Yishan's group was already there but they had no clue to their first stop. Thus, they have to do forfeit. :/



We were trying to find out the shortest and fastest way to our destination. By then, April's group had arrived at the bus stop. This added on to the competitiveness. We tried to digress them and gave them false information as we do not want to be the last group.

In the end, we took bus + train.

When we reached Helix, it was closed due to YOG so we quickly set off to the next location - FLYER!!

Our OGL was slow and we chionged for the traffic but she didn't!



The traffic light was slow and thus, we took a photo of her as an evidence that she might drag us down!

After that, we would ensure that she's in front. At FLYER, we came across a monkey and asked Joelle to pose for us.

Mission: We need to take a group photo with a group of tourists so I approached the tourists and they were kind enough to help us!

After that, we were at the underpass to Esplanade when we saw the drawings on the wall. So here we go again! Camwhored!



Joelle saw the lift at the esplanade and wanted us to take the lift instead. So we had a group photo there as well.

After that, we went to Fort Canning (which reminds me of the SP night). We have to solve the puzzle yet again and need to find the place to take photo.

When we were about to reach our destination, I saw Shihui's group! Excited as always, I waved to her continuously!

Another one!

So we finally went back to hostel after the last station. Luckily we were the second group to reach the hostel. :D



April came by our room and I grabbed her to camwhore!

In the room, we were adding each other on facebook and Darren was there too. So one of them ask me for my name and I said, "you dont know how to spell one lah". Then I took over and search for my name. Then they started calling me CHAI LENG in English. I got agitated because most of my friends called me in chinese name. Due to my overly-reaction, they began to bully me. Almost all the campers know my name. I became famous overnight, thanks to them. But it was fun with them though. Entertainment!

BBQ and I started asking them to play MRT and Niu Nai. :D Then they made fun of me again. HAHA. Forfeited and did some funny stuff. After that we had our SP thingy again. I knew who my SP was but a pity he didn't know who I am. HAHAHA. Everything ended at midnight and we can OTOT.

Went over to the guy's hostel and we played some games. Only manage to go back to our rooms at 6 and slept less than 2 hours.

DAY 2

My energy level was very low and I felt like I'm a handphone! LOW BATT. Had our breakfast and we went out to take photos. Pictures below will do all talkings.

We went back and had our lunch. After that, they started to play MRT again. I was Tai Seng because I thought it would be more unique. But they sabo me and kept calling tai seng. My laps were blue black because 3 beat 1.

After that we had photo sharing session.

It was time for announcing the best group. The guys that time were still teasing me. Then they started to compose a cheer for me and even had a song. At that time, I did a wrong move by daring them to sing the song and cheers. If our group won 3rd, then they won't sing and cheer. So I prayed hard and after going through all the groups, I was even sure that my group should be getting 3rd place.

But luck wasn't on my side. When Felix announced the 3rd, the rest of the members in my group cheered loudly as no matter whether we win or lose, they can do the cheer. 2nd and 3rd were announced and left with 1st place. Marymount Alina said confirmed is group 4 which is us because she wanted to see good show.

Guess what?

We won.
Unexpectedly.
They cheered.
I wanted to dig a hole.


That's how I felt. So embarassing!

Everything ended well and smooth. It was fun, no deny. I was being sabo for most games and definitely, the cheers which stunned everyone. Luckily there's no video. Otherwise, :/

Finally, this marks the end of my 2 most important exam. Indeed, I have experienced Uni’s exam style and definitely learnt a lot from it. I really hope those who took the same exam with me would pass smoothly. I’ve no extra money for extra modules!

Yesterday(7th Aug), I met up with D at Westmall and had our lunch at one of the Japanese stall beside Mos Burger. We wanted to try out the new stall ever since we discover the new place. The food was quite nice. Don is still the best though. After that, took 106 and headed down to Ris Carlton Hotel. D alighted halfway because he can go shopping while waiting for me. I was so muddle headed that I miss the stop! In the end, I have to alight at MBS. As I was already late, I tried to hail for a cab. The driver was really good. He drove one round and found that the road is also blocked at the other side. So he drove back to the original place where I board the cab and told me to walk to Ris Carlton. DAMN. Because of YOG they blocked out the whole road and made me pay $7 for nothing.

I was LATE for close to an hour. I almost burst into tears because I don’t like the feeling of LATE especially when it’s related to work. I think it really reflects badly on the person’s personality. But the in charge was really nice and I kept apologized to him. Did not want to go into detail on how I walked from one place to another because I’m way pissed off.

The meeting ended at about 4pm and when I was walking towards Marina Square, guess what? I saw SERENE! I was very excited when I saw her because it has been zillion years since I last saw her. Actually I notice her bf first before spotting her. But anyway, I was very happy for the past few weeks because I saw many many people that brightened up my day!

Ever since I entered SIM, I saw a lot of people, in school and outside school.

But sad to say, I’ve yet seen my besties by coincidence! Really hope we can meet up soon but it’s really hard especially I’m starting work next Tuesday.

24th July 2010, Sook Fong's Farewell

Yet another farewell, this time round Sook Fong is going back to her hometown and might not come back for good. Well, at least she will be happier going back to own country. Before her BBQ in the morning, I was still thinking if I should go because I was kinda tired as there's lesson in the morning. On top of that, I did not have enough rest.

But Jiaoni encourages me to go and it's really a right choice to go! Really grateful. :D

Took 966 down to East Coast. Stopped at NTUC to get the remaining necessities that were missed out. Headed back to East Coast. Started camwhored with Pooi Fong and BeeLim Love.

Next up is with BeeLim小姐。

As we were walking to the pit, I saw quite a few kites. It reminded me of the time at Marina Barrage with Jiaoni, Tingting and Boon Thai. :( When can we meet again?

Manage to take one of the kites and saw the cobra kite as well.

When we reached the pit, Sookfong's friends have started BBQ. So after awhile, we took over the pit. Pooi Fong and Bee Lim became the "Chef". HAHA while my responsibility was to eat. :P

After both chefs got bored with the BBQ, we decided to stroll along the beach. Took out our slippers and walked on the soft sand. Nature is really AWESOME! We came across sand castle and got really excited because it's nice! So I took some photos with the castle.

See, it's nice and very detailed. One day, I hope my home can be this BIG and GRAND! :D

Time really past quite fast and it was already night time. Both of them continued to BBQ while I took some photos. (That's me) ><

SIM UOL BASH 22/07/2010

Bash was at Supperclub so met the girls at around 8plus and we were in the toilet for very long. :D Was happy to make the right choice by going for Bash because I've never gone clubbing with so many people that I know of! :D

Had touch-up and helped the 2 girls with their makeup though I'm seriously suck at it. :( HuiJing and Yin Mei joined us after "abandoning" OG19. :D And so, we camwhored again! :D

When we are FINALLY done, we began hunting for CHEESECAKE because I need to fill my stomach with cheese, in case of something :D Had a quick snack at Starbuck before we met up with OG19. Took a group photo (girls) before we set off to our destination.

I really like Maybelle's DSLR! It's soooooo clear. Really hope I can own one too :(

When we reached Supperclub, all we did was to wait and wait and wait. I totally have no idea who we were waiting for. It was so hot and HuiJing started taking photo and so.. we also took a few photos but it was awful :( Totally unglam!

We went to queue after !@#$%^&*years and finally got into the club. Took few photos and had few drinks.

Before we head to the dance floor, we saw APRIL! So we shared and bought cranberry volka and finished it. CRAZY night and I was teasing Yishan all the way! :D FUN FUN!

But there were some despo guys too =.=" So we shift and shift to other side. Overall was fun. Around 3plus am, we decided to head home as all of us were tired. Cabbed with Huijing, Yinmei and Yishan. All WEST area! YAY!

Reached home at 4am. Luckily Dad did not lock the notch else I would be locked outside.

26/7/2010, KBOX

It was KBOX day with the girls again! And I dyed my hair again with D's help again! Thankssssssss! At least now it's much much more obvious than before. :D

I was late and we had dinner at pastamania. Dessert came in right after my dinner because I didn't eat a thing for the whole day. =.= We had my favourite yogurt with oreo topping!

I simply love FROLICK! :D

Before we left Frolick, I wanted to take a group photo so I approached one of the guys and the other guy wanted to take with us but the photo was taken badly. :( Ohwells, at least there's a photo! HHA!

Recently my life has been fulfilling and I've started to blog more often now. Probably there's a sudden urge of doing so :D Nevertheless, it's fun yet tiring these few days. Really enjoyed myself. Time doesn't seem to stop for me.

Bash was fun with the girls though I missed out joining AWESOME but it's still fun with the girls :D Shall upload the photos real soon.

Exam is round the corner and I've to put aside all my activities first. Fortunately, I've started studying every now and then. Cleared some doubts but I still have mountains of questions and doubts to clear! I deserved this cause sometimes I was late for merely less than 15 minutes and lecturer already started. *suck thumb* Hopefully I can pass econs! Seriously because I don't intend to bring in any calculator. God bless!

Lesson tml starts at 8.30am. Hopefully I won't be late! :X

UPDATE: FOD, FOC, 2nd FOD19 Outing!

FOD 1/7/2010

FOD was fun. I met quite a few people and they were nice :D It was a short but nice experience at FOD. OGLs were great too. The color for that day was orange! Reminded me of ANNOYING ORANGE! ><





That was during games time. Everyone has to be squeezed into a small pathetic piece of newspaper. Look at my face and you'll know.


FOC 12/7/2010 - 14/7/2010

Foc was fun as well. 10 girls, 10 guys all in GREEN! :D We're the AWESOME! That was the first day when we have to assemble at Vivocity while waiting for the rest to come before heading to Sentosa.


I guess the most memorable and nicest game is CAPTAIN BALL! But instead of ball, it's chicken. Nevertheless, it was fun!

But when it was close to 2nd half of the game, the chicken broken into 2 pieces. I was shocked when I caught the chicken. ><"




Breakfast, lunch and dinner was together with AWESOME!



Throughout the whole camp, I was the one leading the cheers. Everyone who know me were like, "eh you damn high leh". HAHA.

2nd FOD19 Outing 19/7/2010

Finally I can go on outing with OG19 because I wasn't able to make it on the first outing due to bridging course. :(

Met up with the other 3 girls for super short last min shopping for BASH.

In the end, we didn't buy anything. :(

So trained down to cityhall to meet the rest for dinner + bowling. Dinner was good. We had pizzahut. My breakfast + lunch + dinner. On the way to Superbowl, we saw Tingting's favourite, DOMO! So I suggested to take a photo together with DOMO.

Domo is so cute :D It's sooooo big!

Basically, the outing is just mainly for 6 of us? We were into our own dream. HAHA!

I was browsing through my past blog posts and was rather appalled by the tremendous number of posts I used to update. Yet now whenever I wanted to post something, my mind totally went blank. Was it just me or blogger, it does seems to have the power to suck out all my thoughts once I reach the new post page.

In fact, I do have A LOT of thoughts to pour into my tiny weeny winy blog. I wanted to proudly say this: I’ve FINALLY talked to BELOVED TING(: during econs lesson that day! YAY! Both of us were equally excited about seeing each other online and definitely we MISS each other. (: Seriously I felt so much better after pouring out my nothings and nothings to Ting. Really glad that she’s there for me. Just like when we were doing projects. Oh man, I really miss project times.

Haven been recovered from camp yet and I think I have post camp symptoms. AWW. Anyhow, I guess I have neglected many of my friends. 在这里说声对不起！I’ll catch up with you girls real soon! At least after this week and before my exam. But I will be super busy again after exam cause of YOG. (: really looking forward to running an event. YAY! Okay, I ‘m still plain lazy to collate all the photos from camp. I’ll do it when I have the time!

A quick update!

I'm back from camp! It seems like I was disconnected from the world in the last 3 days during camp. Camp was okay, with the AWESOME OG and OGL!! We're awesome!! Will be back with pictures and a full post about the camp. Stay tune because I'm rushing off to tuition soon!

It's not a good sign that I'm updating every now and then. Especially when my updates are not here.
